Our Story

Keep Dreaming, Keep Thriving, Keep The Peace

Building a dream. Creating a legacy. Finding peace along the way.

Our journey began in the city, where a small garden became much more than a place to grow food. With every seed planted, every harvest gathered, and every lesson learned along the way, we began to see a different kind of life taking root. We realized we weren’t simply growing vegetables. We were growing a vision. A vision of land our family could call our own. A place where we could grow and preserve more of our food, create with our hands, build meaningful traditions, teach our children practical skills, and leave something behind that could continue long after us.

That vision became Peace Made Acres. Today, we are building our family homestead one step at a time, from developing raw land and expanding our gardening knowledge to learning preservation, creating homemade goods, building sustainable systems, and preparing for the day when the land becomes home. We don’t have it all figured out, and we didn’t wait until everything was perfect to begin. That’s an important part of our story.

Peace Made Acres is about honoring the process, the work between the dream and the destination. We believe there is purpose in learning, building, trying, failing, adjusting, and growing. Sometimes the greatest thing produced by a seed isn’t the harvest. It’s who you become while tending it. Our faith keeps us grounded. Our family gives the vision purpose. The land gives us room to build. And peace is what we are intentionally making along the way. We hope sharing our journey encourages other families to believe that they can begin too, whether they have acres of land, a backyard, a patio, a few containers, or simply a dream they haven’t given themselves permission to pursue yet.

You don’t need to have everything before you start. Start with what you have. Grow what you can. Learn as you go. And keep building toward the life you want to live. This is Peace Made Acres. From city life to homestead living. From dirt to dreams...
Keep dreaming. Keep thriving. Keep the peace.
