WHERE WE STARTED
Peace Made Acres didn’t start with acres of farmland, a farmhouse, or generations of farming experience. It started at home, in the city.
Like many families, we were busy working, raising our children, and managing everyday life, but we wanted something different. We wanted to slow down, know more about where our food came from, spend more intentional time together, and build something our children could carry forward.
So we started where we were.
We planted gardens, learned through trial and error, celebrated the harvests, and learned from the things that never made it to harvest. Little by little, gardening grew into a much bigger dream.
That dream eventually led us to our 11 acres and Peace Made Acres began taking root.
From Dirt to Dreams.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
Today, Peace Made Acres is somewhere between the dream and the destination, and we’re enjoying the process of bringing it to life.
We’re growing food at home in the city while developing our land, learning new skills, creating PMA products, and taking meaningful steps toward making the homestead our full-time home.
Some days bring progress, others bring lessons, but every step gets us a little closer.
For now, we’re growing where we’re planted while preparing for where we’re going.
The dream is no longer just a dream. We’re building it.
From Dirt to Dreams.
WHERE WE ARE GOING
Peace Made Acres is more than a piece of land. It’s the life and legacy we’re building on it.
Our vision is to create a working family homestead rooted in faith, family, self-sufficiency, and legacy, a place where we can grow our own food, create from what we grow, gather as a family, and teach our children skills they can carry forward.
And the dream reaches beyond our family. We envision Peace Made Acres becoming a place where others can reconnect with growing, creating, learning, and living more intentionally.
We’re still building, learning, and figuring it out as we go, and we’re bringing you along for the journey.
One seed. One lesson. One dream at a time.
